Office of Resource Management

 

The Office of Resource Management plans business operations of the Turner–Fairbank Highway Research Center. The office coordinates office operations and support of TFHRC administrative programs, budgeting, finance, purchase request tracking, employee development, human resources, workforce planning, and competitive sourcing program implementation.

The office oversees financial management of all research, development, and technology research, development, and technology (RD&T) allotments, general operating allotments, and other financial reconciliation, and reporting.

Additionally, the office coordinates technical, information technology, and electronics center support as well. Included in this support are various administrative systems such as the research program. The office also manages emergency planning and continuity of operations plan (COOP).

As part of managing the facility, the office is responsible for all Office of Research, Development, and Technology accountable property inventory and records management, space management assistance, and U.S. Department of Transportation vehicle and wireless communication device administration.
