Graduate Communication Assessment

Graduate Communication Assessment

All new graduate students are required to take a graduate communication assessment. The graduate communication assessment is intended to give you information about your writing strengths and help you identify areas to improve your written communication. We strongly recommend you complete the graduate communication assessment prior to registering for your first semester; however, you will be required to complete it prior to registering for your second semester.

Students are not charged a fee for the graduate communication assessment. The graduate communication assessment is administered online and may be taken on any computer that has Internet access. The graduate communication assessment may only be taken one time and is not repeatable. The Web site to access the graduate communication assessment along with your login and password will be sent to your Walsh College e-mail account after admittance to Walsh College.  Please contact the Help Desk at 248-823-1350 or helpdesk@walshcollege.edu  for assistance accessing your Walsh College e-mail account.

The graduate communication assessment will evaluate writing skills in three areas:

  • Grammar and mechanics
  • Style
  • Organization and development
