Save the date for the 2013 Walsh Wine Gala - Friday, May 10th at Andiamo Italia in Warren.
Over 375 alumni and friends of Walsh College gathered at Andiamo Italia on Friday, May 4th for the Walsh Wine Gala. Over $100,000 was raised for the Student Hardship Fund and the General Scholarship Fund.
Guests enjoyed wine tasting from private collections and local distributors, a delectable strolling dinner, martini bar, scotch-tasting, and a decadent dessert table.
What began as a small wine tasting event, held at the Novi campus in 2003, has now grown to one of Walsh's largest fundraisers. Since that time the event has raised over $400,000.
"We have many loyal supporters of the Wine Gala that return each year and we are truly grateful to each of them. Their continued support ensures that we are able to continue awarding valuable scholarships to our students," said Audrey Olmstead, Chief Development Officer.
