As a way to showcase our students and alumni, we encourage you to consider nominating individuals who deserve recognition.


Walsh College Award Categories

Walsh College Distinguished Alumni Award

This award celebrates an alumnus from the college who has achieved personal and professional recognition and/or made civic contributions in their community. In addition, candidates must be an outstanding contributor to the College. Candidates for this prestigious award must have received a bachelors or higher degree from Walsh College. Once each year, nominations will be accepted from alumni, faculty and staff, and friends of Walsh College.  The College will bestow the award at the Walsh College Leadership Awards event. Nominees must be living at the time of the nomination. The award may not be conferred in absentia; however, it may be granted posthumously.

This award identifies high achieving young alumni  who have distinguished themselves in an exceptional way.  It recognizes early outstanding achievements in a chosen profession or field, and contributions and service to society, the community and Walsh College. Candidates for this prestigious award must have received a bachelors or higher degree from Walsh College. Once each year, nominations will be accepted from alumni, faculty and staff, and friends of Walsh College.  The College will bestow the award at the Walsh College Leadership Awards event. Nominees must be living at the time of the nomination. The award may not be conferred in absentia; however, it may be granted posthumously.
