Roles in the Corps: Aviation Ordnance
Marines in Aviation Ordnance handle all ammunition. They are responsible for the acquisition, safety, storage, buildup, delivery and subsequent loading and unloading of ammunition onto aircraft.
The Aviation Combat Element conducts operations such as offensive air support, aerial reconnaissance and electronic warfare. They support ground forces and maintain air superiority. See more roles in the Air.
