United States Coast Guard Academy at New London, CT



There may be enrolled, at any one time, at least one qualified student each from the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and the Marshall Islands in The United States Coast Guard Academy pursuant to Title 14 U.S. Code, Section 195. For more details please refer to the above-referenced U.S. Code section and Section 342 of the Compact of Free Association as amended in 2003.

Any FSM or Marshall Islands citizens interested in applying for admission to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London are advised to contact the American Embassy in their home capital. All non-citizen nationals and citizen nationals resident in American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and the United States Virgin Islands are eligible to apply to any of the service academies and follow the regular admissions requirements.
