FY2012 CoC Registration
CoC Registration for the FY2012 CoC Program Competition is now open. HUD published the CoC Registration Notice on August 30, 2012.
- Start the CoC Registration process.
- Review the CoC Competition and Training page.
- Find training materials for completing CoC Registration on the e-snaps training page.
- Submit questions to the e-snaps CoC Competition Help Desk.
CoC Registration will close at 7:59:59 p.m. EDT on October 1, 2012.
CoC Program Regulation
The CoC Program interim regulation was published in the Federal Register on July 31, 2012 and will be effective August 30, 2012. Interested parties can submit comments to the Federal e-Rulemaking Portal. The public comment period will close on October 1, 2012.

CoC Program Help Desk
HUD opened the CoC Program Help Desk on the HRE.
- Submit questions about the CoC Program interim regulation to the CoC Program Help Desk.
OneCPD Resource Exchange
HUD has launched the OneCPD Resource Exchange, a portal for news, events, resources, and information for all of HUD's Community Planning & Development (CPD) programs.
Join the OneCPD Mailing List or review your current list serv subscriptions for any of the CPD programs here.
HMIS.info Resources on HRE
As of May 31, 2012, resources on HMIS.info have moved to HUDHRE.info. HMIS.info will no longer support a resources library.
- Locate HMIS resources on the HRE under Find a Resource.
- Type in a search term or use the dropdown menus.
Equal Access to Housing
HUD's final rule Equal Access to Housing in HUD Programs Regardless of Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity is effective March 5, 2012.
- View the Equal Access to Housing final rule.
- Submit final rule questions to the Other Homeless Programs Help Desk, Topic: Equal Access to Housing.
- Obtain more information on the Fair Housing Office website.
- Submit LGBT fair housing questions to the FHEO at LGBTfairhousing@hud.gov.
HOPWA IDIS Webinar Series
New webinar training pages are now available to help HOPWA Formula grantees implement enhancements to IDIS and HOPWA Competitive grantees transition from the Voice Response System (VRS) to IDIS.
HOPWA Financial Management Online Training

Request
technical assistance
HUD grantees, subrecipients and Continuum of Care members who are implementing a homeless assistance program can submit a request to HUD for TA Provider assistance. HUD will determine who should receive on-call, on-site or long term TA.
You may Submit a TA Request to HUD for assistance.
However, CoCs requesting TA must first complete the CoC Check-up.
- CoCs can access the CoC Check-up via the CoC Lead Portal.
- CoC stakeholders who have been invited to participate in the Check-up will receive an email.
