Lewis and Clark

Our nation's public lands are a legacy left by Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery. Today, over 200 years after the Corps passed through this area, the public can still see many of the same landscapes described by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark.

The BLM manages more than 300 miles along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail in Montana and Idaho, including the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument and Pompeys Pillar National Monument.

Visit these websites for more information about Lewis and Clark.
