Visit the Butterfly Garden. Whatever your interest, the Visitor Center is a great place to begin an exploration of the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge.

Visitor Center Displays

 

Three-dimensional displays depict the four critical habitats the refuge was established to protect -  Chesapeake Bay, Barrier Islands, Salt Marshes, and Upland Forests.

Observation Window with binoculars
