Career Management
Introduction
Mirroring the recent creation of OPM-4, RPM will offer career management counseling to officer (CWO2 to LCDR). We will primarily focus on helping Reserve officers (on or off Active Duty) in their future career decisions to ensure they meet their professional goals within the USCGR and increase the readiness of the SELRES corps to meet our nation’s needs. Also, upon request, we will counsel officers concerning competitiveness and failure of selection for Post-Graduate and promotion for grades CWO2 thru O-4.
The below is a quick list of possible tools and resources to help with your Reserve Career. It is brand new and will undergo many changes in the upcoming months. If you have comments or wish to schedule an appointment, please email your Name, Rank, EMPLID, and comments to:

Thinking about changing categories, but not sure which is the best for you? The Reserve Policy Manual (RPM) describes the various categories of the Reserve Component, but you may also want to view this quick summary sheet to understand the impact of moving from the SELRES to the ISL or anything in-between.
