How Do I Find My Way to NMCP and Offsite Clinics?
From Norfolk International Airport
Exit the Airport Complex on Azalea Garden Road. Turn left onto Military Highway. Go about 3 miles then enter I-264 towards Norfolk. Take the Portsmouth exit ramp. Go through the tunnel. Upon exiting the tunnel, take the first exit on the right, continue straight to Effingham Street. Turn right onto Effingham street. Follow Effingham to the Medical Center.
From Newport News Airport
Take I-64 East toward Norfolk/Va. Beach. Take I-664 South (which is Exit 264) and proceed through Monitor/Merrimac Bridge Tunnel to junction 264 East (Exit 15A). Follow 264-East to Effingham St (Exit 7B). Take exit 7B (last exit before Portsmouth/Norfolk tunnel). Follow Effingham straight through hospital gate.
From Fort Lee
Take I-95 South toward Rocky Mount NC/Norfolk. Take the RIVES RD exit, EXIT 47, toward VA-629. Turn LEFT onto RIVES RD. Turn right onto COUNTY DR/US-460. Continue to follow US-460E Merge onto US-13N/ US-460E/ US-58E toward VA-10 W/ Newport News/Norfolk/VaBeach. Merge onto I-664 S/ Hampton Roads Beltway toward I-264 E/ Portsmouth/ I-64/Norfolk/US-13 N/ Va Beach. Merge onto I-264 E via EXIT 15A on the LEFT toward PORTSMOUTH/ NORFOLK...Take the VA-141 N/ EFFINGHAM ST exit, EXIT 7B, toward CRAWFORD. Merge onto EFFINGHAM ST toward NAVAL HOSPITAL. Follow Effingham straight through hospital gate.

Sewells Point
The Sewells Point Clinic is located just outside Gate Two of the Norfolk Naval Station. From downtown Norfolk or Portsmouth, take Hampton Blvd North to Admiral Taussig Blvd and turn Right. The clinic is on the Right. Or, from the Virginia Beach area, take I-64 West toward Richmond. Exit onto I-564. I-564 will turn into Admiral Taussig Blvd. Before reaching Hampton Blvd, turn Left into the Sewells Point clinic.
Yorktown
The Yorktown clinic is located at the Yorktown Naval Weapons station. From the Hampton Roads area, take I-64 West toward Richmond. Exit onto Hwy 238 at exit #247- Yorktown Naval Weapons Station/Lee Hall Road. Bear Right toward the Weapons Station. At the second stoplight (approximately 2.5 miles after the first stoplight), turn left to Base Gate #1. After proceeding through the gate, take the first Right at Fullinwinder Lane. At the end of this road, make another Right. Thereafter, the road will come to a "Y"-section. Take the Left fork of the "Y". The clinic is the second building on the Right.
Norfolk Naval Shipyard Clinic
From either I-264, or dowtown Portsmouth, take Effingham St South. Turn Left at Portsmouth Blvd. Proceed approximately 5-6 blocks to Port Centre St. Gate #10 is on the Right. Immediately upon proceeding through the gate, the clinic will appear in front of you.
Boone
Boone Branch Medical Clinic is located just outside Gate Four at Little Creek Amphibious Base. From Interstate-264, exit onto I-64 West toward Richmond. Take Exit #282/Northhampton Blvd toward Bridge Tunnel/Chesapeake Bay, and bear Right. Follow Northhampton Blvd approximately 1.5 miles to Diamond Springs Rd, and turn Left. Follow Diamond Springs to Shore Drive, and turn Right. At the next light, Nider Blvd, turn Left. The clinic is on the Left, just before entering Gate 4.
Northwest
The Northwest Clinic is approximately 25 miles South of downtown Norfolk. From I-264 take I-464 South toward Chesapeake (I-464 branches off of I-264 immediately on the Norfolk side of the downtown tunnel). Continue approximately 6 miles on I-464 South, merging onto Hwy 168 toward Manteo/Nag's Head at the end of I-464. Continue South on Hwy 168 approximately 8-9 miles, merging Right as it turns into S. Battlefield Rd. Continue approximately 4 miles on S. Battlefield, then turn Right onto Ballahack Rd. Proceed approximately 3 miles to Relay Road. The clinic is located at 4501 Relay Rd.
TPC Chesapeake
TPC Chesapeake is located near the Greenbrier Mall in Chesapeake. From Norfolk or Portsmouth take I-464 South toward Chesapeake (I-464 branches off of I-264 immediately on the Norfolk side of the downtown tunnel). After approximately 5.5 miles, take the I-64 exit toward Richmond/Va Beach (exit #1A). Go nearly 2 miles to Exit #289B-Greenbrier Pkwy South. Proceed on Greenbrier Pkwy South a half mile. Turn Left on Eden Way North. The clinic is located on the Right in a semi-circular building with the Coast Guard Recruiting Station.
Oceana
Oceana Branch Medical Clinic is located at the Oceana Naval Air Station. Take I-264 East toward Virginia Beach. Exit on First Colonial Road South (Exit #21A). Follow First Colonial Rd South until it turns into Oceana Blvd. Proceed South approximately 2.5 miles. Turn Right onto Princess Anne Rd (signs should direct you onto the base at this point). The clinic is on the Right side of the road, prior to passing through the base gate.
TPC Virginia Beach
TPC Virginia Beach is located on the Southeast corner of Salem Rd and Lynnhaven Pkwy in Virginia Beach. It is approachable from many directions. From I-264 take I-64 East towards Chesapeake/Suffolk. After approximately 2.5 miles, exit on Exit #286B-Indian River Rd East. Continue on Indian River Rd approximately 1.5 miles until it turns into Ferrell Pkwy. Continue on Ferrell Pkwy 2.5 miles to Princess Anne. Turn Right on Princess Anne. Shortly thereafter, turn Right on Lynnhaven Pkwy. The clinic is on the Left (South) side of the road. You must turn Left on Salem Rd, then Left again to get into the building. The clinic is located in the Konikoff Professional Center. If coming from the East, you can take the Lynnhaven Pkwy and follow directions as above.
Dam Neck
The Dam Neck clinic is located on Dam Neck Amphibious Base. Take I-264 East toward Virginia Beach. Exit on First Colonial Road South (Exit #21A). Follow First Colonial Rd South until it turns into Oceana Blvd. Proceed nearly 3 miles to General Booth Blvd, and turn Right. As soon as possible, proceed with caution into the Left lane. After a half mile, turn Left at Dam Neck Rd. Proceed approximately 2 miles to the base. After passing through the gate, turn Right on Terrier Ave. The clinic is on the Right side of the road, after the gas station.
