Geography Quiz: Get to Know Your Public Lands

Studying geography helps you learn about different places and people. Here's a fun way to learn more about our country's public lands. See how many states you can identify!

Important note: You'll need to be able to view "Flash" (Version 7) animations to run the quiz.

Taking the Quiz: Each slide contains a set of clues describing a state where BLM administers public lands. Read each paragraph and select the state it describes by clicking that state on the map.

Hint: You'll have two chances to get it right. A little hand will appear over the possible answers.

Your selection will pop up on the screen. Click "Check Answer" to see how you did.

When you complete all 12 questions, you will see how well you did. Good luck!
