Proposed Location: Approximately 15 miles west of California Highway 14, 12.5 miles south of California Highway 58, and 8 miles north of State Route 138
Electricity Production Capacity: Up to 60 megawatts
Company: Power Partners Southwest, LLC (a subsidiary of enXco)

Company's Expected Benefits: The project would generate enough electricity to power about 18,000 homes. The project is anticipated to employ a peak construction workforce of 75 and 8 to 12 full time workers during operations.
Public Comments
The public comment period on the Notice of Intent has been extended to September 29, 2011.
Publication of the NOI initiates a public scoping period of 30 days, ending August 15, 2011. During the scoping period, the BLM will solicit public comment on planning issues, concerns, potential impacts, alternatives, and mitigation measures that should be considered in the analysis of the proposed action.

Public Meetings and Hearings
As part of the environmental review process for the Tylerhorse wind energy project in Kern County, Calif a public scoping meeting will be held from 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at the Mojave Veterans Building, Room 1, 15580 O Street, Mojave, Calif.
Future meetings, hearings and any other public involvement activities will be announced at least 15 days in advance through public notices, media releases, and/or mailings.
