Biography

Antony Blinken

Antony Blinken is the National Security Advisor to the Vice President and Deputy Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. Previously, he was Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee. In the Clinton administration, he served on the National Security Council as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for European Affairs, as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Strategic Planning and Speechwriting, and in the U.S. Department of State. A graduate of Harvard College and Columbia Law School, he is the author of Ally Versus Ally: America, Europe, and the Siberian Pipeline Crisis and a former reporter at the New Republic.
