Wei Wu

Associate Scientist

Dr. Wei Wu is an Associate Scientist at the Atmospheric Sciences Division of the Environmental Sciences Department in Brookhaven National Laboratory. Her current scientific work focuses on understanding cloud-radiation-climate interaction and atmosphere-ecosystem interaction. Emphasis has been on using observations and models to investigate the variations of cloud-radiation properties, cloud modeling deficiencies, radiation entropy, and the interaction between atmospheric system and terrestrial ecosystem. Current programs in which she has had a major role include the U.S. DOE Earth System Modeling program via the FAst-physics System TEstbed and Research (FASTER) project and the Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) program on an investigation of atmosphere-ecosystem interaction.
