Chongai Kuang

Assistant Scientist

Dr. Kuang is an Assistant Scientist whose research interests are broadly bounded by the study of atmospheric aerosol physical and chemical processes, focusing specifically on the study of aerosol nucleation and the development of instrumentation to detect newly formed particles down to below 1 nm. Current scientific work is focused on developing microphysical based parameterizations for aerosol nucleation and initial growth for use in large-scale models through intensive field campaigns and controlled laboratory experiments.
