Regularly scheduled 'live' online training seminars update knowledge and skills and describe practical tools that can be used to improve the care for people with diabetes.

AADE Partnership

Available for IHS, Tribal and Urban Indian program employees currently working with people who have diabetes mellitus or at risk for diabetes mellitus and would like to enhance their knowledge and skills in diabetes self-management education.

External Trainings

Are you interested in becoming a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Lipid Specialist? This section has links to professional training resources and certification opportunities from other government agencies, professional associations and credentialing organizations.

Conferences

Attending a conference can be an excellent way to receive an ongoing education on effective diabetes treatment and prevention strategies. Many diabetes-related conferences host small workgroups and networking sessions - for participants to meet with colleagues, discuss common problems and share from their own experiences.
