FAQ
DOCLINE -- Displaying Diacritics Correctly

Question: How do I display diacritics correctly in DOCLINE?

Answer:

To display diacritics correctly in DOCLINE, users should change the character set of their browser to Unicode (UTF-8). Information about the encoding system Unicode can be found at http://www.unicode.org.

To change your character set:

  • In Internet Explorer 7.x, select Encoding from the Page menu, then select Unicode (UTF-8).
  • In Internet Explorer 8.x, select View, Encoding, Unicode (UTF-8). Some users may need to select More, then Unicode (UTF-8).
  • In Firefox, select View, Character Coding, Unicode (UTF-8).

Note: Depending upon the source of the data and input method, not all diacritics can be displayed properly by DOCLINE.
