Staying active as you age is essential to staying healthy and living longer. Exercise, a healthy life-style, and proper nutrition are all important components to achieving your goal. The information here provides you with some simple tools to help you live a long, healthy life. Naval Medical Center San Diego, Health Promotion Department also has a Senior Wellness Program that can help you learn more about healthy living, and healthy aging. This 13 week course is open to all beneficiaries, age 65 and up, and includes lectures by medical, health, and wellness specialists, as well as physical activities, and is designed to meet your needs.
