Dental Continuing Education FY09 Course List

Eligibility

Participation is open to DoD active duty members of the Federal Dental Services, Reserves actively participating in the Reserve Program, and on a space-available basis to all other qualifying personnel, including civilians. Specific courses may have special limitations.

Course Fee

Active duty Department of Defense personnel including active duty foreign and retired DoD will not be charged a course fee.

Reservists serving on Active Duty Training (ACDUTRA), while attending courses in military uniform, will not be charged, with proof of valid orders and identification card.

Civilian, Ready-Reservist, Reservist (not on ACDUTRA) Coast Guard, Contract Dentist and Public Health Service personnel will be charged a course fee.

Fee rates are $50.00 per day multiplied by the number of days of the course. The full course fee will apply to either full or partial attendance at the courses. Fees are non-refundable.

General Information

Branch Dental Clinic Naval Base San Diego (BDC NBSD) is located in Building 3230 onboard 32nd Street Naval Base San Diego.

Directions to BDC NBSD: Take Interstate 5 South and exit on and Main Street. Go straight through the intersection to Naval Station Gate #30. Turn right on Norman Scott Road. The Branch Dental Clinic (Building 3230) is the first building on the left-hand side.

Arrangement will be made for course attendees to enter the base during the period of the course only.

Attendees utilizing base lodging are reminded that vehicles must have DoD decals or a base pass. Parking is permitted in the main parking lot located in the front of BDC NAVSTA on Craven Streen. This lot is shared by multiple commands and fills up early.
