Located on the Silver Strand between San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean, Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado, is the West Coast hub for naval amphibious operations including training and special warfare. Established in 1943 to meet the wartime demands for trained landing craft crews, the base has evolved into a major shore installation.
Branch Dental Clinic Coronado is collocated with the Branch Medical Clinic in Building 506 on Bougainville Road within two blocks of the main gate. Branch Dental Clinic NAB provides a full range of dental services to our eligible beneficiaries with the exceptions of orthodontics and oral surgery. Referrals for specialty care are provided as needed to NAS North Island and BDC Naval Station.
