The TRICARE Outpatient Clinic Chula Vista offers comprehensive primary care services to non Active duty patients age newborn to 65, enrolled in TRICARE Prime.  We have 7 Family Practice physicians, 1 Family Nurse Practitioner, 1 Internist, 1 Pediatrician, 1 Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and 1 Physican Assistant, as well as a wide range of support and nursing staff.  TOC Chula Vista offers patient education High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Diabetes and Asthma performed by our RNs and LVNs.

The clinic has support services available including basic laboratory,mammography and pharmacy services.  Currently, due to command wide pharmacy staffing shortages, the TOC pharmacy will be open for routine prescriptions from 0830 to 1700 M-F and 0800-1600 Sun/Sun/Holidays with a 30 minute lunch break which the pharmacist will take when there are the fewest number of patients waiting on prescriptions.  Patients can also pick up their routine medications from the NMCSD pharmacy if it is outside of our clinics pharmacy hours.  Emergency medications will be dispensed on an “as needed” basis after the pharmacy is closed.  The mail order pharmacy will be in effect as usual, so that you can have refills delivered to your home within 7-10 days; call (619) 532-8400 to refill your medications with this convenient and reliable system.  Mammograms are by appointment only.

For acute medical questions or home triage advice outside of the normal clinic working hours, TRICARE Outpatient Clinic Chula Vista has a pager watch that is staffed by a Physician or Nurse Practitioner.  You can access the on-call provider by calling (800) 440-6403.
