Orchestrate the total force integration of the Reserve Component (RC) who would, upon mobilization, report to an identified operational mission, ensuring training opportunities which will develop or maintain clinical and professional competencies consistent with the NOBC/NEC and military billet assigned.

Strategic Goals 

Ensure RC reporting to Naval Medical Center San Diego meet the same Joint Commission/Bureau of Medicine and Surgery/Patient Safety compliance requirements of their Active Duty counterparts.

Effect existing technology and available training opportunities for RC to maximize peak staff performance

Measure RC operational support to identify the impact on the NMCSD Mission to deliver quality health services in support of the Armed Forces, maintain medical readiness, and advance medicine through education, training and research.
