If you are fascinated by history, enjoy working with the public, and want a challenging, meaningful volunteer position, you too can be an Archives Volunteer! Enthusiasm, flexibility, and an interest in sharing an appreciation for our American heritage are equally important.
Profiles of Volunteers
Our current volunteer needs:
- Staff Aides to assist genealogical and historical researchers in the microfilm/ public access computer room, provide information about records and about genealogy search processes, help researchers use equipment, and perform research projects. This position requires a commitment of four hours per week or on one Saturday per month for a minimum of one year.
