Brian Goodger serves as Deputy Director of Acquisitions Management, Contracts & Grants in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, where he is responsible for Contracting and Acquisition Management for all ASPR acquisitions.  Mr. Goodger has been with ASPR since 2005; before that, he served as a Contracting Officer with the Federal Government since 2000.  Immediately prior to joining ASPR, Mr. Goodger worked with the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health, supporting the Office of the Director and the Division of Cancer Epidemiology & Genetics. While there, he was responsible for both the policy and process elements associated with contracting.

Mr. Goodger is a graduate of the Department of the Interior Government-Wide Acquisition Management Internship and the recipient of numerous United States Government awards and honors, including nomination for the Ida Ustad Award in 2008.  Mr. Goodger is FAC-C level III, holds an unlimited Contracting Officer’s warrant, and earned a M.S.in Management with a concentration in Government Contracts.
