ANNOTATION: Results from a survey of the use of evidence-based practices (EBPs) and the 13 Strategies as explained in the publication “Putting Public Safety First: 13 Parole Supervision Strategies to Enhance Reentry Outcomes” (NIC accession no. 023433) are presented. “The survey covered characteristics of the field offices, backgrounds of the administrators, organizational climate and culture, collaboration, training, use and support of evidence-based practices (EBPs), and supervision policies and practices as they relate to the 13 Strategies” (p.2). It appears there is a slow adoption of EBPs and the 13 Strategies.
