Can you replace some of your DNA with DNA that you want, such as for eye or hair color?      David Bodine, M.D., Ph.D.: I investigate the genetics of pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells (PHSCs) to improve the effectiveness of bone marrow transplantation and to find better ways to use these unique cells for gene replacement therapy. In cells the live outside the body, it is pretty easy. However doing that in all the cells in your body, or in sperm or eggs, we can't do it. East Haven High School in CT (10th grade student)
