College.gov is being built by the U.S. Dept. of Ed. in collaboration with students. The site is intended to be the go-to source for information and resources about planning, preparing and paying for postsecondary education (such as 2- or 4-year colleges and universities, as well as vocational or career schools). There are sections for Parent/Families, as well as information for administrators, College.gov walks through “why go,” “what to do,” and “how to pay.” The interactive College Roadmap feature helps high school students map their path to college.
