of days is assumed to be available for use immediately upon completion of the service interval. Periods of service are chosen arbitrarily and do not necessarily reflect individual
provisions for progression. Fractional vacation amounts were&nb sp;rounded to the nearest full number of days.

2Includes workers in the private nonfarm economy except those in private households, and workers in the public sector, except the federal government. See Technical Note

3Employees eligible for paid vacations but who have not fulfilled the minimum service requirement are included as receiving 0 days. Estimates include plans that are
exclusively for paid vacation and vacation plans that are part of a consolidated leave plan that provides a single amount of time-off for workers to use for multiple purposes.
