About Us
Naval Engineering Support Unit (NESU) Alameda is a component of the Industrial Operations Division (IOD) of the Coast Guard's Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC). NESU Alameda consists of a central office based in Alameda, California, on Coast Guard Island. NESU Alameda provides hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E), and ordinance maintenance augmentation to specific cutters through Maintenance Augmentation Teams (MATs) and Industrial Support Activities (ISAs). NESU Alameda consists of Industrial Support Activity Alameda (ISA Alameda), Industrial Support Activity San Pedro (ISA San Pedro), Maintenance Augmentation Team Alameda (MAT Alameda), and Maintenance Augmentation Team San Diego (MAT San Diego).
