How many gametes can be in a punnet square at one time?      Shawn Burgess, Ph.D.: Studying developmental processes and their relation to human genetic disease. In theory, there is no limit to the number of gametes that can be put in the square. Very quickly however, the chart becomes too cumbersome to be of particular use. A 10X10 grid has 100 entries, a 20X20, 400! Cody Hoover in PA (9th grade student)
