NARSC Home

NARSC works collaboratively and cooperatively to assist communities and their animals in their preparations for and response to incidents that place animals in crisis.

Established in 2006, the NARSC mission is to identify, prioritize and find collaborative solutions to major human-animal emergency issues. NARSC members are dedicated to
professionalism in animal emergency response and management. NARSC fully integrates into emergency management processes consistent with the National Incident Management System (NIMS).

Member agencies have cooperatively responded nationally and internationally to wildfires, floods, ice storms, tornadoes, hurricanes and other natural disasters; as well as man-made animal disasters including puppy mills and hoarding situations.
