Customer Notice: USCIS Transitions to New Webinar Platform

The SAVE Program is pleased to announce the launch of a new, more user-friendly webinar platform. Effective June 1, 2011 SAVE began using AT&T Connect to conduct its weekly Webinars. Customers can expect to collaborate with their Webinar host from multiple locations with ease on this new platform without the burden of pre-registration. To sign up for a webinar, customers may choose the topic, date and time, and simply select “Attend Session.” The maximum call capacity for webinars is 125 lines.

SAVE Training Opportunities

The Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program offers several training opportunities to prospective, new and current customer agencies, including webinars and other customized training to meet your agency’s specific needs. 

Prior to registering and gaining access to the online SAVE system, the SAVE Program offers agencies training opportunities.  Please review the descriptions below to determine which training would be most appropriate to your agency’s needs.  Current customers may also access additional training and a tutorial via the online SAVE system.

SAVE Program Overview (Webinar)

Description: 

This webinar provides a general overview of the SAVE Program, including the program’s mission and a description of the verification process.  Participants will understand how the SAVE Program can support agencies in verifying the immigration status of benefit applicants, and have an opportunity to ask questions about the program.  This webinar is appropriate for prospective customers interested in the SAVE Program. Length of session is 1.5 hours.

SAVE For Existing Users (Webinar)

Description: 

This webinar provides live demonstrations of the web-based method for accessing the online SAVE system.  Participants will understand how to log into the online system, run a SAVE query, and review case statuses.  It also provides participants an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the program.  This webinar is appropriate for new or current customers that are already registered with the SAVE Program. Length of session is 1.5 hours.

Special Notice (Georgia Agencies)

Description: 

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is offering a free 1.5 hour Webinar about the SAVE Program for Georgia Cities and Counties that are required to use SAVE by the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the SAVE Program and a streamlined registration process for Georgia localities. Officials from the Georgia Municipal Association and/or the Association County Commissioners of Georgia will join and answer questions about the Georgia legal requirement to use SAVE. Please note that Webinar participation is not a substitute for completing SAVE registration process.


How Do I Attend A Webinar?

  • Simply choose the topic, date and time, and select Attend Session(Pre-registration is no longer required).

  • Note that the session you plan to attend will become active 15 minutes prior to the listed time. Please note that all Webinar times are Eastern Standard Time.

  • If you have never used AT&T Connect before, Click Here to setup your computer, or let your computer setup automatically upon entering a webinar.

  • If you experience an issue trying to connect to a Webinar, please email SAVE support at SAVE.help@dhs.gov or call SAVE Customer Support at 1-877-469-2563 (Mon - Fri, 8am-5pm local time).

What is required to attend a Webinar?

  • Computer with Internet access to view the presentation; and

  • Telephone to listen and interact with the Webinar host and participants.
