Data from the 2001-2007 National Health Interview Survey identified the emotional and behavioral problems, characteristics, conditions, and service use of children aged 4-17 years.

Suicide Prevention Lifeline (SAMHSA)
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is 1-800-273-TALK (8255).
Launched by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
(SAMHSA), the hotline provides immediate assistance to individuals
in suicidal crisis by connecting them to the nearest available suicide
prevention and mental health service provider through a toll-free number.
Suicide currently is the 11th leading cause of death in men and women
among all age groups, accounting for approximately 30,000 deaths annually.
