Libersky serves as the senior representative in Minnesota for the SBA, whose programs include facilitating loans to small businesses through commercial banks, advocating federal government contracting opportunities for small businesses, and working with local communities in all 87 Minnesota counties on entrepreneurial development and growth opportunities.
In her new position with SBA, Libersky is responsible for a staff of 14 professionals who advocate the interests of the small business community. It also served over 24,000 entrepreneurs through counseling provided by the District Office and its network of resource partners throughout the state while facilitating 52 government contracting opportunities totaling $31 million for small disadvantaged businesses participating in the 8(a) Business Development Program.

Libersky brings to the position 20 years of federal experience, most recently serving as the Regional Manager for International Trade Programs with SBA’s Office of International Trade. Her focus was on supporting small businesses exporters in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota by providing them technical assistance and finance options through government-guaranteed finance programs.

Before coming to SBA, Libersky served as the Director of the SBA 504 Certified Development Corporation covering southern Colorado. Early in her SBA career, Libersky drew on her extensive finance background to underwrite SBA domestic loan programs, and she served as

Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Libersky attended Colorado State University – Pueblo. She moved to the Twin Cities (and the Minnesota SBA District Office) in 1994. She is a member of the Minnesota District Export Council, appointed by the Secretary of Commerce, and is a member of several international organizations.
