On Thursday, May 31, Natalie van der Horst, an Economic and Commercial Officer from the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, spoke to approximately 40 college students in the U.S. Department of State’s George Marshall Conference Center. Her remarks focused on “U.S. Economic and Commercial Policy in Latin America.” In her overview, Ms. van der Horst touched upon several countries throughout Latin America, highlighting the economic relationships between those countries and the United States. Ms. van der Horst was introduced by Jon Tollestrup, a Public Affairs Officer in the Bureau of Public Affairs.
