Dmitry Ruzmetov

Dmitry (Dima) Ruzmetov is a CNST/UMD Postdoctoral Researcher in the Energy Research Group. He received a Diploma in Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from Indiana University. His doctoral research focused on magneto-transport properties of diluted magnetic semiconductors. Dmitry is working with Alec Talin on the fabrication of nanowire-based batteries, and on characterizing their micro-structural and electrical properties. He is also developing models to describe chemical processes and charge transport in these batteries.
