  2009 Annual Data:  


Data include number of firms, number of establishments, employment, and annual payroll by employment size of the enterprise. The industry classification is based on 2007 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. An establishment with 0 employment is an establishment reporting no paid employees in the mid-March pay period, but paid employees at some time during the year.

Files are in comma-delimited format. Larger file sizes may not export into older versions of Excel; therefore, tabulated data are also split across multiple files.

Files are in comma-delimited format.
