President recommends $5.062 billion for Air Force Reserve in FY13
The FY13 budget includes $1.885 billion for military personnel, $3.166 billion for operations and maintenance to pay for air operations, service support and civilian pay, and $11 million for military construction.

Air Force FY13 Military Personnel Totals
The Air Force is requesting 9,900 fewer military personnel in the FY13 budget request. The active component end strength is 328,900, reduced 3,900 from FY12; Air Force Reserve end strength is 70,500, reduced 900 from FY12; Air National Guard end strength of 101,600, reduced 5,100 from FY12.

Air Force Reserve Command Personnel End Strength for FY13 includes 56,338 Air Reserve Technicians and Traditional Reservists; 9,079 Individual Mobilization Augmentees; 1,092 in Pay Group F; 210 in Pay Group P (paid); 893 in Pay Group P (unpaid); 2,888 Active Guard and Reserve, for a total of 70,500 personnel.
