This Month
Hold a meeting to review and discuss interjurisdictional procedures and processes. Enlist staff at all levels in a workgroup to identify, analyze, streamline, and create policies, infrastructure, and contracting mechanisms.
Facilitate Interjurisdictional Placements
Finding families for children who will meet a child's needs may require looking outside your jurisdiction or State, into the sovereign nation of the child's Tribe, or into countries outside the United States. Find resources in this section to assist in interjurisdictional placements of children from foster care, including State and local examples.
