Wide Bandgap Semiconductors for Clean Energy Workshop

July 25, 2012

The Wide Bandgap Semiconductors for Clean Energy Workshop (held in Chicago, IL on July 25, 2012) gathered stakeholders from industry and academia to discuss the current state of the art for WBG semiconductors, emerging applications, and barriers to research, development, and implementation at scale in commercial and industrial applications. Improving the quality and reliability of WBG semiconductors while reducing manufacturing costs could accelerate their widespread adoption in automotive, power electronics, solid-state lighting, and other clean energy applications.
