Acquisition Process
Three processes cooperate to deliver capabilities needed by warfighters: the requirements process (JCIDS); the acquisition process (DAS); and the program and budget development process (PPBE). Includes links to DoD and Service policies, guidance, tools, and resources:

The DAU Training Center is a Department of Defense resource that supports the acquisition, technology and logistics workforce. The Training Center provides global access to certification, assignment-specific, international, and executive training courses.
The DAU Training Center provides on-line information on certification standards and student policies and allows students to apply for DAU courses and request transcripts on-line.
For more student information, select the “Student Information” option in the menu on the top-left of the page.
In addition, the Training Center provides on-line access to course descriptions and schedules and allows you to browse distance learning courses (and, soon, class-room materials too).
