The Frank Carlson Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse was constructed in 1977 and is situated on approximately 2.4 acres adjacent to the downtown historic post office. Its four-story atrium entrance is graced by an unusual glass sculpture entitled “Tornado,” which is greatly enhanced by the light filtering in from a rooftop skylight.

General Building Information

Hours of Operation: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday–Friday.

Visitors must have a valid ID, register at the security office before being granted entry, and have an escort at all times.
