Dr. Samantha Ingram is a native of Alabama and began her career in education as a science teacher. Since that time, she has held several leadership positions with multiple challenges.
Those positions have included Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor, School-to Work Supervisor, Director of Program Development and Resources, Assistant Superintendent of the Division of Federal and Special Programs, Deputy Superintendent of the largest district in Alabama and various other positions in Alabama and Washington. She served the last two years as a superintendent in a small rural district in South Carolina.
In 2003, she received a Doctorate of Philosophy in Instructional Design and Development from the University of South Alabama. Ingram has two daughters.
