125 FW 1 (Centralized Library of Servicewide Policies) establishes a centralized library of current Fish and Wildlife Service policies and management directives.

The library includes, but is not be limited to: 

• Director's memoranda and other policy/management documents that we have not published through the Service Directives System, 
• Legal authorities, 
• Policy/management directives published in the Federal Register, and 
• Fish and Wildlife Service Directives (Fish and Wildlife Service Manual, Director's Orders, and National Policy Issuances)

The Division of Policy and Directives Management: 

• Indexes all policy/management guidance, 
• Publishes the index and the guidance on the Internet, 
• Provides a search engine for the Library, and 
• Keeps the Library up-to-date.
