Carol joined SBA in April, 1998 and currently holds the position of Administrative Resource Coordinator. Including her years with SBA, Carol has a total of 18 years of federal service including the FDIC and FEMA (aka Homeland Security). The staff of the Chicago Region Office supports the activities, responsibilities and needs of its 6 Midwestern states (Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin).

Prior to service with the federal government, Carol held various positions in real estate investment, management and financial operations, and taught English while living in Japan.

Carol is married to Ken and they have three grown children and 6 grandchildren. Her and Ken live in Bartlett, IL which has been their home since 1977. Prior to moving to Illinois Carol and Ken lived in a number of cities across the U.S. and for four years in Japan while Ken fulfilled his military enlistment with the U.S. Air Force. Carol is an Ohio native, born in Cleveland, spending her teen years through high school in Mansfield, OH.

Aside from her career with SBA, Carol is active in various civic and faith based organizations in her local community. She loves to travel and of course spends as much time as possible with her 6 grandchildren.
