Carlos G. Mendoza serves as District Director of the Small Business Administration's Fresno District Office. Mendoza has over 32 years of Federal service in the field of business, housing, and community development. The last 15 years has been spent with SBA in the district offices of Los Angeles, El Paso (Texas) and Fresno.

Mendoza is responsible for the delivery of SBA programs and services in Central California, a jurisdiction comprised of fifteen counties having the population equal to the state of Oregon. Each year the Fresno District Office continues to achieve new records in lending as the result of its collaboration with its lending partners and business development partners, such as the SBDC network, SCORE, Women’s Business Center and chambers of commerce.

Mendoza is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, Princeton University and California State University, East Bay. Other schools attended include the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Affairs at Princeton University and the Wharton Evening School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. Mendoza is also a licensed architect in the State of California.

A life long resident of California, Mendoza resides with his wife in Fresno, California.
