Star Wars: The Clone Wars Voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi visits DoDDS-Okinawa Schools

OKINAWA, JAPAN — February 26, 2009 — James Arnold Taylor, the voice behind Obi-Wan Kenobi in the recent movie, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, recently visited Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Schools in Okinawa, Japan, as part of the USO's Education Tour.

Taylor, a native of Santa Barbara, Calif., visited students Kubasaki High School, E.C. Killin Elementary School, Kadena Elementary and Middle Schools, Stearly Heights Elementary School and Kinser Elementary School. The USO's Education Tour offers celebrities an opportunity to showcase their talent and demonstrate their appreciation for Service members and their families. The program emphasizes to students the importance of staying in school, continuing their education, and offers a chance for students to learn more about the arts.

Taylor's versatile vocal range has given him success in every facet of the Voice-Over Industry. In addition to his work on the recent Star Wars film, Taylor will be featured in the soon-to-be-released film Food fight. He has also starred in a variety of other films, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Animatrix, Atlantis: Milo's Return, Superman Doomsday, and Justice League: The New Frontier.
