Selected for assignment as Director of Communications, Installations and Mission Support, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio

Terry G. Edwards, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is Director, Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He guides the nearly 600 people at the center in managing the Air Force's military and housing construction, environmental restoration programs and military family housing privatization program. The center's other responsibilities include pollution prevention, resources conservation, and planning and architectural design.

Mr. Edwards was commissioned in the Air Force in 1984 through Officer Training School, serving on active duty for 10 years and in the Reserve until he retired in 2005. In his civil service career, he has held several positions at AFCEE at the branch and division levels. Mr. Edwards most recently served at AFCEE as Chief of the Capital Investment Execution Division and acting civilian Deputy Director. He was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in 2010.
