FOR THE STATE OF WYOMING
AFFORDABLE HOUSING ALLOCATION PLAN
The Wyoming Community Development Authority will conduct a public hearing Tuesday October 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the WCDA Conference Room, 155 North Beech, Casper, Wyoming.
The purpose of this Public Hearing and Open Forum will be to solicit comments with respect to the 2013 Wyoming Allocation Plan for Section 42 Tax Credits. Public input will be heard from interested parties at this time. Written comments must be received by 5:00 PM of Friday, October 5, 2012 to be read into the minutes of the hearing.

WRAP ProgramWyoming Rehabilitation and Acquisition Program (WRAP) houses are foreclosed properties that have been purchased with federal NSP money. These houses will be rehabilitated and made available for purchase by persons with lower incomes who qualify for the WRAP program. Print and mail it in today! This program will not last long. WCDA strongly recommends you get a current Annual Credit Report if you are interested in applying for a WRAP house. This report can help you identify potential problems and can be obtained for free from www.annualcreditreport.com Completing a HUD approved Homebuyer Education class is a requirement for participation in this program. Classes will be held in each community where WRAP houses are located and will be scheduled as the need arises in each location. A total of 84 houses have been purchased by NSP! 12 have completed their rehabilitation and are currently available in Cheyenne, Rock Springs, and Casper. A total of 42 have been sold since the start of the program, with 5 more scheduled to close soon. We also have 25 more coming up in Cheyenne and Casper that are currently in various stages of rehabilitation that will become available over the next few months.
